Ok here's a test. did this demo work?

This time maybe.

I don't know. Was that the right way to attach a demo? Thanks everyone for helping me figure this out.

On Win7 it might be in:

\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare

Joker, that's exactly where it was! Thanks a million, it's satisfying to at least finaly find the files. Let's see, is this the right file to attach now? Or is there a better way to post it?

Yes it works. It is easier to find these files if You go to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare

Then click "Compatibility Files".

I have found a good way to record a demo is to use the COD 4 console record, then to use Quick time record to record the COD4 demo. That way you get no lag.

We only accept original .dm_1 demos as proof for obvious reasons. Thanks for the suggestion anyhow.
