According to various rumors, the Battlefield 3 premium subscription service, simply called Battlefield Premium, will cost around the same as Call of Duty Elite ($50/year), and will include the following.

  • All Battlefield 3 DLC (Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, End Game)
  • 20 new weapons, 10 new vehicles, 20 dog tags, and 4 new game modes.

In case you missed it, the 5th and unannounced DLC is reportedly called “Aftermath”, and will be released in December 2012. For more on the up and coming DLC Close Quarters, its maps, weapons and more, check out our Close Quarters page.

Previously we reported that Close Quarters would be released on June 1 on the PlayStation 3, that’s now looking unlikely. Instead, EA is expected to reveal the release date and the full Battlefield Premium details at E3, starting June 5.

Will you be buying Battlefield Premium? Of so, why? And if not, why not? Let us know in the comments section!
