O.k .This is the best tempura batter i know. As a chef i have millions of recipes, so if you need one let me know.

 

Tempura batter #1:

80gm self raising flour

60gm corn flour (corn starch)

1 egg

4 ice cubes

water (to make to batter consistency, approx 125ml)

 

Method:

Sift flours together in a bowl, add egg, ice cubes mix, add water and mix, (note this batter should be lumpy not smooth)

For more batter, double ingredients.
