sicsiksix Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 (edited) So me and the wifey, and a few friends went to PJ20 this last weekend at Alpine Valley in East Troy WI. It was cold, rainy, and AWESOME! Pearl Jam put on a fantastic show as always. This time around they played a lot of songs that they haven't necessarily played live a whole lot. Of course they mixed in some of the huge songs too. It was really cool to see them play songs like Once, Deep, State of Love and Trust, Porch, and Breathe. But the real kicker was when they brought out Chris Cornell as a sort of Temple of the Dog reunion! They even did a Mother Love Bone song. It was amazing! Here's the whole setlist from day 1 of the weekend: Pearl Jam setlist: Release Arms Aloft Do The Evolution Got Some In My Tree Faithful Who You Are (with Liam Finn, John Doe, and Mudhoney drummer Dan Peters) Push Me Pull Me (“only for the 8th time ever???”) Setting Forth Not For You (with Julian Casablancas from the Strokes) In The Moonlight (with Josh Homme) Deep Help Help Breath Education (with Liam Finn) Once (Ed says back in the day it was a fairy tale ONCE) State of Love and Trust Better Man Wasted Reprise Life Wasted Rearview Mirror Temple of the Dog reunion setlist: Stardog Champion (Mother Love Bone cover) Say Hello 2 Heaven Reach Down Hunger Strike (Cornell leaves stage after song finishes) Pearl Jam setlist continued: Love Reign O’er Me (The Who cover) Porch Kick Out The Jams (MC5 cover with Mark Arm and Steve Turner from Mudhoney) A few of the pics that we took: There were a few people there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fui8tHN5Ees http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3HInbSDdk8 Edited September 7, 2011 by sicsiksix Quote
