How can I get my level 2 admin on my laptop as well?

Hi. I have level 2 admin on my desktop PC and was wondering if it's possible to get it on my laptop as well. I was told by Carbon to copy my .dat file from the desktop to the laptop. However, after doing do I am still level 1 and also lost all of my XP. (Which is no biggy) Is there someone that can help me out? Not sure if the admin is tied to hardware or not. If so, can someone just set my level to 2? If there is another way please let me know! Thanks guys you are the best.

Have you tried copying the ETKey from the folder on your PC to the corresponding folder on your laptop?

I replaced my ETKEY that's under ETMAIN and still nothing. I'm starting to think the Key is hardware bound or something.

Did you not get your XP back either?
Also, check your GUID to see if it’s the same on your PC and your laptop

What game version do You use 2.60b or Legacy?

 

You mentioned .dat file which for me means that You are playing on Silent server, which means that You need to copy silent.dat file from silent folder on Your PC to silent folder on Your laptop.

Yes I did exactly that. I followed instructions and made sure to do it correctly. I put it in the silent folder and selected replace items with new file. 

Thanks for all the help everyone but it's really not a big deal I didn't know it would be such a hassle. Let's just forgot about it. No worries!

Do You use legacy or 2.60b?

 

If legacy then You need to paste it to Your documents folder: C:\Users\%userprofile%\Documents\ETLegacy

 

If 2.60b then just in program files and then game folder. Do You still have xp and level on Your pc just not on laptop?

I use ETL. ZaZa the xp and admin are both gone. It's fine don't worry about lol it's really no big deal it's just a game. Thanks, though you all are the best.
