ETL version obsolete in F|A servers?

Hi guys; I've been having problems with the Beginners#2 server for a couple of weeks.
Ping often double my normal one that varies from 35 to 45; difficulty following the fight with data packet loss. I remember experiencing something similar when a few months ago I had installed 2.83.2 but the server was running 2.83.1: I took a step back by reinstalling 2.83.1 and then went back to 2.83.2 when the server was updated to 2.83.2 and everything was fine.
This evening I saw that the server is running 2.82.1; a bit old I would say and it could certainly be incompatible with 2.83.2
Tomorrow I'll try to use 2.82.1 too to get further feedback.
