Nightmare' Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Ok so for those mates who have been facing this error with opengl subsystem , sometimes this gets fixed when u update your graphic card and have a directx version which has inbuilt opengl subsystem , but sometimes it dont get fixed so here is an alternate method , you can install opengl.dll file from any online site itll be a dll file and paste it in your games main folder or else you can use 3dfx app which is available online and ones installed, helps you to run ET a little better Incase the above method dont work and you have RTCW (return to castle wolfenstein) installed and that is working fine then copy paste all files in your Et game folder to that RTCW folder . And if any query contact me , maybe i can help 3DFX link = https://www.driverscape.com/download/3dfx-voodoo3 1 Quote
Inactive Member rMks Posted April 9, 2023 Inactive Member Posted April 9, 2023 Thanks for sharing these troubleshooting tips for the opengl subsystem error in Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. While updating your graphics card and directx version can often fix the issue, I understand that it may not always work. Installing the opengl.dll file from a reliable online source and pasting it in the game's main folder or using the 3dfx app as suggested could be potential solutions for players experiencing this error. I appreciate you also providing an additional solution for those who have Return to Castle Wolfenstein installed and working fine, suggesting to copy and paste all files from the Enemy Territory game folder to the RTCW folder. Thanks for offering to help with any queries, and for sharing the 3dfx link as well. I hope these tips will be helpful for players experiencing the opengl subsystem error in Wolfenstein Enemy Territory! 1 Quote
