Chill Ombre o_O Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I downloaded patch 1.7 recently for COD 4 so that I could try out some of the gazillion mods people have made for the game. However, upon the advent of a longing sensation for my favorite servers (F|A, of course ;] ) i found that they run on patch 1.6 and not 1.7. Before I uninstall and reinstall COD4, is there any way I can uninstall just patch 1.7? or maybe keep 1.7 but "bypass" it in a sense. Thx for any posts back. Quote
Malokyte Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 There's a reverse patch out there. I think one has been posted on this forum as well. Just search for a 1.7 to 1.6 reverse patch, you should find one. Quote
AntiThought Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Click THIS link for for the patch selector Dan has created. It works for all non-digital download versions. If you have a digital download version (Dirct2drive, Steam, etc...) let me know and I will post what you need to do for those. Quote
EternalZombie Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 If you ever want to play both 1.7 servers and 1.6 the best thing you can do is copy the contents of your cod4 1.6 folder and paste them into a new folder (for ex: 1.7 COD4) then patch that folder instead of your 1.6 folder. Quote
