Hmm i recently() downloaded cod4 mw I downloaded  a torrent which had a zip file.i extrated it and then runned the setup file which was a .bak file..it installed perfectly and i can play single player ( i have two .exe files one for single player n other for multi)..Now inorder to it online on private servers. i tried patching my cod4 to 1.7.First of all i patched it to 1.1 ......i got patched then i tried patching it to 1.2 but when i ran the setup for patching it it gave an error--->No valid cod4 mw installation found.same thing happened wen i tried patching to 1.5 and 1.6 n 1.7
I have tried reinstalling the game and then patching but the same error....
And people have patched the gamne to 1.7 from the same torrent(game download)I also tried searching for some solution online didnt find one for this thing yet :X
