I'm new to things like Xfire, Do i add individual users or a group? I tried adding Chuchun as a buddy but didn't see anything happen. I'm using the plugin. Thanks in advance.

Hello folks, Been a bit since I last posted. I was playing today on Hardcore server and got a messeage one my screen that read " brother come seek blahblahblah at tibetanclan.com" First time I have seen it, not sure if this is ok with you guys are not but felt I had to post soemthing about it. Metaxa Some people who plays this game are wolves and some are sheep. I'm a sheep improving your KD.

It has been real people so far. This is generally what happens, I"m 'bout to kill someone and they selfkill to avoid death. Happens often to me. I'm not very good at this game so it sucks seeing better players have to resort to this to avoid lowering their KDR. Their are worse things in this game than dieing. regards -

I found someone self killing. Today on Hardcore someone by the name of sexxxiiii did a self kill as my panzer was on the way to them to avoid death. The counsel said that person had self killed bringing their kill streak to an end at 6. I came around a corner and fired, right before it hit that person, they were facing it, they self killed.

I generally see the weapon drop and corpse disappear. I have seen the play dead thing before and kept shooting anyways, but thats mainly because Im a spray and pray king. Been working on doing more burst assualts than just holding down the shoot button.

Recently I have noticed on the Hardcore server that when I am chasing someone down they will drop to the ground as if they changed to spec or a different class in the middle of the fight. I don't know if this is something I should point out to others or if it is just my dumb luck that when I finally have the drop on someone they drop out of the game. Metaxa

Hi folks, I have been playing on your server for a few months now. This is the first FPS I have played with any regularity since quake and Doom. I play mainly because it works on my Linux laptop, it seems to always have people and it is fun. I'm not very good at FPS's but I am trying. I'm a nightclub bouncer by trade so I have most days off and spend them playing on The Hardcore server. I was on the Jaymod1 server and recruit but my exp was reset sometime ago and I switched to HC. I am so new to this game that I rarely know what the objective is so spend my time supporting other players with heals or ammo. I give it a try everyday to get better. If you see me on feel free to say hi. Thanks

Thanks for the responses guys. I use ubuntu as my distro, I don't lag or things like that. I use default settings and it runs normal just unsure of their is anything special I should not be using, like details settings and the like. I don't know much about how these things work or whether it would improve my game play experience. I'm generally not very good and often times spend it as spectator following other players around to see what I'm doing different. Thanks for all the advise. Anyone figured out how to connect to Vent servers from Linux? Thanks.
