Yo. I've tried everything I can think of so I'm posting this as a last resort in hopes that someone else has had this issue before and knows a solution. For a while now when playing ET I'll get crazy fps fluxations. Sometimes as severe as 90 - 5 and back. That would be ok if it was a rare occurance, but when ET decides to act up it will usually do this rhythmically, like every second or so. It creates a completely unplayable environment which is why I haven't been able to do much for a couple of weeks now. I've heard other people with my card (256mg nvidia geforce 6200 in the agp slot) have also had issues with ET but nobody has offered me a solution yet. I've changed just about every setting individually. I've tried ET at its lowest, visually, and at its highest. I even set my maxfps to 75. Occasionally that will make the game playable for a short amount of time, but no enjoyable length. Assuming my system was the problem (and not some strange issue my card may have with ET) I've cleaned my computer, defragged, updated my video drivers (as of July 2)..everything to no avail. It's driving me crazy and if it continues I'm going to have to quit ET. Any suggestions or solutions no matter how wild or unorthodox are much welcome and appreciated. Thanks.

Getting drunk and setting off fireworks has always worked for me. I'll stick with tradition.

I saw this the other day on SL and thought it would be an interesting idea. At least as long as it has the hum like a normal charge, otherwise I'd probably just find it infuriating.

Ha. I thought I was the only person dualing a crt and lcd. I always get strange looks about it.
