If you never seen a one handed guy get savage on COD4, then come visit me on our HC server.
Time to update the profile, I guess. I am a former army forward observation/ intel soldier that lost my right hand in combat. (Iraq). I just retired from my job with DOD working joint support operations for State Dept. and DHS. I used to teach EOD to law enforcement agencies and even recently spent 9 months in Afghanistan training over there. For some reason, when the guy missing a hand says not to do something, people listen.
I have 3 boys and a loving wife and when I am not working for uncle sam, I spend alot of time working with vets that come home missing body parts. I also have started working at the childrens hospital (volunteer)teaching disabled kids to have fun like everyone else. My passion is getting victims of tragedy to overcome there physical limitations and get back to doing things they love. The look on a childs face wheen they can play a video game without a hand or arm is priceless. I have seen soldiers cry at the end of a game of basketball or golf (golf cart polo anyone?) because they thought their life was over when they lost a leg.
COD4 is my primary training tool for teaching adults to overcome a loss of hand or arm.
Don't go easy on me, I'm pretty good at this.
I have most recently become involved in therapy and group support for soldiers coming back from war. I work with the 355th fighter wing out ot Davis Monthan AFB. They are home to the A-10c close support squadron as well as search and rescue and medical support squadrons. I really enjoy the physical activities we do to get back to normal life and it gives me something fun to do with my retirement.
See you on the servers!
