Return from Inactivity New name - New Guid

Hey 0siE, good to see you too. No, I don't live in the US, still in Iceland. The band Khruangbin is from the US and I'm just a fan

Return from Inactivity New name - New Guid

Hello everyone, I just began playing a little bit again. I was asked to change my guid, so I have. And since I'm already on this path of rediscovery I'll be changing my name also. Going from Amabadama to Khruangbin Amabadama was the name of my old band, but Khruangbin is a name of a really awesome band from the US that I'm into right now, plus it's a weird/cool word, and apparently it means airplane in Thai See you around

    Jon Lajoie

This guy! He also did the legendary "Show me your genitals" and "Everyday normal guy" Check it and cry your eyes out in laughing spasms

  6. I just discovered this album, it goes from deep reggae dub to cuban to soul and r&b and ends at early-Beatles / Pink Floyd - something. In some magical way there is still a thin red line that connects the songs in a weird way and makes it all make sense in the end. I have no idea what band/producer this is and frankly I don't wan't to know, this is just one of these hidden gems on youtube that shouldn't be spoiled. I urge you to listen to it from beginning to the end and post your opinions here Blundetto - Bad Bad Things
  7. Recently finished Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut, that man is a genius, can't wait to read it again!
  8. Not often that I type "lol" and actually do but this time I definitely did!
  9. Cool topic, I'm a keyboard player so I don't really have any questions about guitar, isn't just a matter of plug-in and play? My advice to every musician who is playing somewhere is this: Try by all means to do a soundcheck!! I hate playing a gig and the sound is bad on stage, kills the groove and makes you nervous. (At least for me)
  10. Jack & coke is always classic, but I do love Hendrix G&T, a slice of cucumber and a bit of pepper. Makes me feel classy

    Snarky Puppy

Have you guys checked out this band? This is really advanced stuff, but I challenge you to at least give it a chance, you will get entranced! This video includes the craziest keyboard solo I've ever heard And a great guitar solo for you guitar lovers:
