Hello all! Just popping in to say hi to my old friends and to any new members! I've just been so busy with work and family life that I haven't had time to even boot up the old pc. Hopefully soon when things settle down I'll be able to start becoming more active again. Just making sure yall know I'm alive and well!

So for once in my entire life, I actually can't wait to go into work now. A good friend recommended me to a towing company, and wouldn't ya know it, 3 days later I'm done with training and on the road, hence why I haven't been around as often as I usually am.

With all due respect, don't let the handful of bad apples spoil the bunch. Yes, we all know that there are a**h**** cops and the such, but we are only seeing one side of this story. I was raised to respect anyone in authority, regardless of how much of a **** they are or anything the like. And I've found that if you show respect, respect is shown back. Imagine this: If you were placed in a position in which you had to supervise God knows how many smartass kids, you would most definitely react in the same way as the officer. Im not saying what he said or did is correct, but most likely he has to put up with this shit everyday during the week. I know that, as a firefighter, we go on bullshit runs all the time and they get quite annoying, and we start dealing with them in a different manner. As i said before, if your looking for sympathy, you will get none from me. P.S. You can always tell when a politician is lying when his/her lips are moving. I cant stand politics. Politics (Poly=many, tics=bloodsucking parasites)

Learn to respect people of authority, it will help you in the long run. At 13, you shouldnt be doing that, it wont look good on your record for applying for jobs and such. You'll have no sympathy from me

Now, not many of us on here do this, but i thought it would be neat to show you all what I get to do every so often. A wetdown is a phenomenon in the volunteer firefighting world. It ususally happens when a volunteer department gets a new piece of apparatus. Surrounding towns bring their own apparatus and literally 'wet down' the new apparatus and anyone 'defending' it. Wetdowns usually have barbeques live music and a bunch of different sub events, and are generally a good time. I am the guy in the black turnout pants on the one hose line, as you can see it gets pretty intense (one of the guys ended up going to the hospital because he took a nozzle to the face and broke his nose open haha) but it is a great time!
