This issue started exactly the moment i played the first game on the 1v1 competition on etrpo.

 

The announcer pretty much doesnt announce anything.

 

cg_announcer is 1

 

im running et as admin

u could post ur cfg .. i could go through it. are u using legacy? and what os?

 

do u have duel key binds?

Those are at the same values that you posted.

Im using the same config for many years and i have not changed anything.

I have tried other configs but always go back to the same.

At the time this started i didnt mess with any configs before hand and like i said i can pinpoint the moment it happened.

So i have no idea why this is happening..

 

Going through the config wont really bring anything as it has been working properly for years.

 

EDIT:

Now that i think about it,the game actually plays some sounds,like maybe when a construction is finished,but it wont play others,like flag captured etc.
