I encountered if I stay on a wall and some players shot me with Thompson, the hit impact push me back and I will fall of the wall. If I shot any players with MP40 that does not happen. Is the Thompson stronger than the MP40 or is there an other explanation? Also generally, in 1 on 1 fights with specific players (Thompson vs MP40 and full health) I experienced also something strange. Even when I don´t get hit in the head, I´m done within less than one second. The amount of bullets have been shot in that time shouldn´t kill me even every one hits me, like the weapon is just stronger. kajto3 Posted March 3, 2018 Share Posted March 3, 2018 MP40 dmg = Thompson dmg. The guns are exactly the same. Only in RTCW they differ a bit. Most of ET players would say using Thompson or MP40 is personal preference, which is true. But technically they both have same damage, spread etc. Remember that level 3 light weaposns reduces spread. Because as lvl4 soldier with both smgs I notice myself switching always to mp40 whenever I have bullets as it seems to hit better. Even though the acc might tell a different story... You dont die in a second or with one bullet.You cant count how many bullets the opponent has shot while you are in the middle of the fight nor can you calculate the time the opponent has been firing their weapon.
