Krepox Posted February 13, 2018 Share Posted February 13, 2018 etpro has best hitboxes.. and best player atmosphere,team play is forced i mean!. i wont go on about the other mods but i was very displeased to go from etpub/pro too all this new garbage .lol took me along time to accept. most good pro servers are locked and u must be invited ..and u must know etpro logistics..an be able to listen to some 35 yrold in his moms basement tell u how hes so awsome .. Its locked for a reason. For example; last year we've tried a few gamedays on the etpro servers, to get 6o6s rolling. To play 3o3s, 5o5s, 6o6s, you need communication between the players etc etc. Besides that you dont want any random players to join the server and join a team. Last time on FA server we had 4o4 i believe and after 10 minutes a few random players came in and just joined and played like it were public settings. You may guess; really annoying. That's the main reason those servers are locked, to prevent random players to join in. So it is not really to get invited. U just needs a few players and know the passwords from servers. And yes; ETPro is the best mod of ET. It makes ET one of the best team-based multiplayer fps games of all time (my opinion). 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

F|As etpro is unlocked. and xp doesnt reset each map?i agree tho your opinion is spot on..best games ever are scrims.with a good seasoned team. most fun i ever had in et. Max Pain2010 Posted February 13, 2018 Share Posted February 13, 2018 (edited) I ran an etpro server with kmod awhile back and it really wasn't much different than having a popular public server. Just need admins as you would on every server. Server had all the same maps as your jaymod and silent servers i even had a few odd ball maps on there and ppl didn't seem to complain. Was set up with a map rotation and not vote if some1 didnt like a map or requested a map i did my best to fulfill there wants with a weekly rotation change. As far as my server rules went they really weren't much different than the rules u guys have on your servers. If any big egos came on bad mouthing ppl id warn them and kick if necessary. what was funny to me was those ppl ended up making a server of there own and mine still beat the popular contest at the time. Also server config was set up to be a public config not competitive so no barebones ranks.
