Skorpion fix ?

A player asked if we had fixed the "Skorpion silencer problem"?  Supposedly there is a selection error when selecting the silencer.  It makes the gun inaccurate.

 

Anyone on here heard of this?

Here is what I found on the internet.

 

I don't care CoD4 is an old game, the Skorpion is a legit problem with the rule set at the moment with nearly 7-8 people using it in a lobby. It's an SMG with the capabilities of an AR and more reliable than a scope (especially if one bullet on the scope is missed, it's long range abilities when tap fired are bullshit). You're right, it was never an issue in the past because only 1-2 people used it in games, but now it has replaced every single role in the game with it's ability to have decent short range, amazing long range (even being used a pre-sprays these days) and great medium range with up to 8 people using it.. The silencer does not decrease it's range one bit, or its damage. It is a god like gun. There was enough interest for the SCAR-H to be banned, and there has been way more interest for this to be banned by majority of the COD4 community. I don't know how many of you making the decisions have played CoD4, but I've nearly been on it every single day playing customs and the gun is legit f***ed. If you haven't jumped on CoD4 please reconsider your stance, things change and this is as Dsav would say 'ruin the comp'. No SMG, no matter what, should x-map people. Please don't ignore this, there's a reason a thread was made. Actually listen like you did with the SCAR-H. These decisions don't put people OFF, if you haven't realised that now, then christ. 'omg banned skorpion not playing in cod4 comp' <--- would never happen, 'skorpion is banned thank good decision, and was the right decision based on how bulls the gun was'. It'd just make for a more ENJOYABLE, and skillful ruleset. I don't believe someone with an SMG who put themself in a bad position should be able to cross map people with a gun having the capabilities of an AR. I mean,why ban the M8A1 and FAL on BO2? Because their influence in 5s, along with how quick it kills and decent short range which can outgun SMG's is why they're banned (i'm assuming). Please, for the sake of the last CoD4 competition ban the Skorpion, it won't deter ANYONE.

Adding the silencer reduces your recoil, and thus making it more accurate at longer range. This is not a bug and unless some kind of server change was made (which i doubt, because it would involve modding), it should still be hella accurate.

 

So I'm pretty sure we can do nothing about that.

Skorpion is the worst.. Most unrealistic, most unfair advantage gun in the game. If I had my way it would be banned like marty.

I mean, I'm pretty sure theres a way without unmodding to remove it from the server, at least I think I saw that option in the server config once.
