We would not celebrate 100 year birhtday without our veterans in Second World War (in Talvisota and Jatkosota). Russia had 10 time more soldiers than us, one finnish man had to win ten men and they did it. It was our biggest disgrace how we treaded our veterans after war. But its never too late to be thankfull and see own mistakes. Happy birthday Finland and thanks too all veterans and Lotta's who served us in the wars. My grandfa lost his brother in the war and two came back with injuries. One of his sisters stayed in the Sweden when Finnis ppls send over 80 000 children in the other nordict countries mainly in Sweden in time of war. After war we got huge penaltys what we had to pay to Soviet uninon and in the 1952 we was able to pay all the penaltys which made us only country to able to pay all the war reparations. We fight true hard times, when most of the ppls was poor because war an those war reparations. Both my grandparents lived through pula-aika (emergy time) and it can been seen from our old genaration very well. I hear a lot stories from war time from my grandfa, how he saw german soldiers going true his home where he lived. Thank you Suomi and hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää :)
