Aniky Posted November 2, 2017 Share Posted November 2, 2017 With unlimited sprint so you could enjoy the physics of the game and put corner camping sprint saving k/d ratio nubs in their place at the same time! :D Not so concerned about those folks, i mean, it's still duel at the end, u are on the loss of stamina, but can end up easily out aiming them, that is if the hitboxes re on earth and not stuck in their behinds as per usual cases. More annoying is a random panza camping somewhere, then blows u and himself to achive jack shit. I think honestly the most irritating thing at ET currently for me is just the hitboxes, specially now when i mostly play on HC, takes out all the fun shooting a guy into the head and seeing bullets go thro his head doing zero damage. all I want in life is a server on any mod where people dont play so damn lame all the time, in every aspect of the word Etpro wars haha, honestly, it was the only time i used to enjoy ET in all of its glory, where u just play it with the folks on same level as you and actually have some fun against players who are as decent as you or even better. i agree with aniky. "joyful moment of playing" sounds unreal for public but yes, go for it There was some french jaymod server back at past, have slow shooting, no adre, no panza, no flamer or mortar, lowered arty charge as well, was playing there all the time as it probably got closest to the joyful gaming experience one person can expect it to be. It's not that easy to make a new server popular these days. You can't just rotate the settings expecting all regulars will keep reconnecting and getting used to new stuff. Even if you manage to gather 5-10 active members and ask them to play on the server regularly it won't get it going for good. I'm not sure what mod would be the best option, let's see what the poll shows. New HC server? Sure, I'd love to play it if it had really neat settings. But what about our current HC? Wouldn't the new pro-server become a threat to its great activity? I'd rather make some changes to the current one (I know, impossible) and create a new server for those noobs from HC. But who would just give up one's beloved server and move to new one with no players? Nevermind, forget it... You need to state clearly what players will be the new server dedicated to. Also nice being able to choose a server by mood and map like now with even more options.
