ET + Windows 10?

Hi Team,  a few weeks ago i installed  windows 10 on my pc, all worked normal, until an update for windows was installed automatically without my permission, afther this i can't play more ET, i look for a solution but not found anything, now i playing again with win7,  i think this is the best, but i like w10 i read in other sites that these update killed a lot of games and can't play with full screen, someones know if Microsoft actually fix this update?

really depends on what is the problem, main problem often is that a new windows has different default settings so youll have to change them yourself, I play on win10 and have 0 problems. Its all fixable if you know where to look

I play on W10 too, no problems at all... don't forget to always run ET as administrator.

I have it on windows ten too and I just run as administrator and it always works for me. Maybe you need to reinstall it potentially

Also use Win10 and had never problems with ET it still runs super smooth

Try running as admin and it should work. Right click on ET.exe and run as admin. 

 

If you plan to re install take back up of your etkeys.

if you reinstall, look into et legacy. works a lot better on w10 for me than regular et

Let's start with the basics. What's the error message?

It should work fine, my son, JKamino, plays W:ET on Windows 10. Make sure you run the executable in Backward Compatibility mode. He has it running in Windows XP compatibility, and always running as Administrator.

I just did the new WIn 10 update and first thing I noticed is that everything I had set to Run AS Admin was no longer that way, including ET, so I had to go reset all my programs manually again to Run As Admin
