Chuckun Posted September 23, 2017 Share Posted September 23, 2017 (edited) You need to use an editor with elevated (admin) privileges. Use notepad++ or similar, and set notepad++ to always run as admin OR you can copy your cfg somewhere else (desktop or my documents etc), edit it, save it, then copy back and overwrite the old one. I avoided the whole issue four years ago when I built this computer by copying the whole ET-installation from the old computer to a separate (not C:) HD = no problems.
