Downtown Detroit is nice part to live in but all in all I would say the negatives outweigh the positives by a lot. Detroit really turns into a different city when the streelights come on. It's almost more busy at night. Fun place if you know people. I live within walking distance to Ford Field pretty much. So I have it kind of bad, but I am starting to get used to it.
