I was thinking that unlike on the Yucatan, in Texas or in Florida, they can't drive hundreds of km or miles away before the storm strikes.

Indeed the good thing was that the netherlands deployed 150 soldiers before the hurricane crossed over them and already deployed 2 ships with goods that arrived yesterday to 

they already cleared the aiport and harbour so the next 24 hours planes with water food medical supply's beds tents for 40 000 people for 5 days untill the next hurricane has passed

if they wouldnt have act before the hurricane hitted the islands theree wouldnt be goods before the next hurricane would have been passed 

now they have atleast a window to send the goods and marines and troops to prevent more plundering and violence and clean up the infrastructure and key locations such as the airport for once I find my gouvernament acted really good in such a bad situation
