Disable Poison Knife Yes/No?

 i just want to have a opinion post because i personnaly hate the poision knife and i want to know who shares my opinion!!

 

maybe add molotovos in beginners server instead of poision knifes.

nope it was tested in jay3 for a few days and the server activity went backwards rapidly you have quite some regulars who like to play with it

Personally I hate poison knives. Especially if they bounce x times and hit you somewhat random but it is part of the Jaymod experience and I justify them according to the random f***ING rifle nades that kill me.

Agreed it's the worst thing in ET. Wouldn't mind if it stayed the same but you could still aim while poisoned. The current mechanics while poisoned of getting hit and then spending the remainder of your health pissed off and waiting to die are pretty dumb for a skilled FPS game. Unfortunately some love it and populate the servers just to use it so it is what it is. Going out on the nade before you can die is all that's left to get back at the player that put you in the situation.

I also hate it, but if restricting this will make regulars leave I say huge f2! There are plenty of servers without poisoned knife, although there is poisoned syringe on silent but you can heal it yourself (at least on FA servers afaik)

I don't really appreciate it too but sometimes it is kinda fun to use poison knife, particulary against phoenix and spreadem

Imo and my experience, hate poison knives because it's indirectly one shot one kill type of thing, once you get hit by knife you either die using your nade, or with posion atlast, or go to medipack which will always be the farthest point on the map . So -1 for Poison knives. (remove poison knives).

 

edit: I have not used molovs in ET so can't give an opinion on that.

anything that takes away from actual et I cant absorb lol.

 

on jay2 they had it took it away but what I didn't like  about it was u actually have to bind  it so u can throw knife soo its really not fair to people who have no clue.. on cfg settings.

To be honest, I never understood why the throwing knife got poison in it.. ?

 

In my opinion it should be removed or at least as harushi said, let us still aim and bleed to death.

 

 

Beside that, I would prefer the best for the server and not the best for my own gameplay style.. so if poison knife brings more players, let it be.
