Anyways, I'd like to suggest some changes for the server because there's some really annoying stuff going on there. -First of all, admins, you should really get your crap together. Some admins love joking around, don't care about insults (as a joke obviously), don't mind me or anyone else saying stuff about sex, etc. Those are great people to play with! Some others will instantly mute you for the stupidest crap. For example, one day I told D Fighter he was a squanch (it's a made up nonsense word in the cartoon series Rick & morty). He didn't know what it meant, he looked it up, and MUTED ME. Like wth, it's not an insult, he didn't even know what it meant. All admins should be the same at enforcing rules, and also not be dictators. Relax a bit, you act as if this game was a freaking library. We are here to chill, have fun, not to be kids in kindergarden. Stop taking stuff so seriously as if they were a real crime. -It's really dumb that we can't say any "bad words" in the chat. Why the hell would you censor them? Are we playing in the queen's server where we drink tea, don't shoot guns and everybody is polite? You are trying to "protect" people who don't even play this game. We are all adults, and even if there are any teenagers, why would they mind if I say "f***" if I got killed? Are they sweet innocent children of god? -Spawn kill is what ruins most maps, not a good idea. Sorry if I sound harsh, that's the way I talk I'm not mad in any way. See ya around! We are not. And some of the adults players behave like a stupid teenagers time to time. We have too many of them, trust me!.. So you will be surprise to know, how MANY actually we have problematic adult players (in age 30+) on our servers. Some of them just can't play even 5 minutes without harass or insult someone... So it be probably best for all to keep auto-mute on for F/S words. In FA we have many ET serevers, please come to one called Hardcore: hc.clan-fa.com:27960. We don't have auto mute restriction on HC. DFighter Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 funny you use a situation that happend when you just started to play in recruiting months agoalso the word u used is also used to say Bi tch i actually searched it before muting you not to mention the way you were using it just after getting warned not to insult so you were being a smartass against me and ye then you get muted.and if I was really so strict with rules like you say or other admins you were muted already a long time agoand if you think me or any admin abuse his commands feel free to post for the rest stop whiningeasy to complain on forum about admins but do it then with the full story for example mention how you acted in de server insulting others mocking others big mouth to admins I rather have 50 non whining and insulting players happy then 2 -3 smartasses that try to be funny by insulting or being a smartass. An example, Regular players who just want to play peacefully and have fun can feel targeted and attacked. If so they will go play somewhere else. I play on FA because they keep the drama out and keeps things balanced. If they allow insults (even in a joking manner)or all other kinds of drama shit I personally would be looking for a new home. To keep a server alive you need structure, rules, good admins and server regulars who wants to come back day after day. So far this is what we have on FA servers and that's why regulars comes back everyday. A little story. I used to have my own servers a few years back. Always full. Me and my top 2 admins had to be gone for 2 week. I had work shit to do, the other was school stuff and last one was going under surgery. Well all hell broke loose on the server and forum. After just 2 weeks when I came back I had a shit load of complaints in my pm box and in the complaint section of my forum. The main reasons was disrespect, insults and harassment. I lost half of my regular players who was pissed. Then the fall began. My server was half empty so others started to go elsewhere and within a month the server was most of the time empty. I paid the ultimate price because of a handful of players who created so much drama and shit in game. I understand you don't like the feeling of having restrictions but it doesn't stop you from playing the game. It doesn't take much to lose control. If you go up to a random person or someone you don't know and start throwing insults, you can be sure hes not going to take it well. If its your buddy, hes most likely gonna treat it like a joke but you never know as through text, it can be interpreted in many ways. So make sure you know the dude well enough before attempting to name call. Even then its not exactly encouraged but to me a few insults between friends is fine, i do it as well but its best to be done in PM. If you say it in global chat it can be easily taken the wrong way and there may be consequences. Some admins are more lenient than others but its best not to test them. If you do have a problem with an admin, you can make an admin abuse thread about it - with proof but when present on the server, always listen to the admin whether you like it or not because fighting or disobeying them will only make it worse for yourself. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't use this to complain about you, I don't give a fk anymore about that. I thought it was kind of abusive but it's not a big deal. I wanted to suggest, not complain. It was just an example. If I wanted to complain I would have done it the same day. Some of you thought I was talking about wanting no restrictions at all, which is not what I meant. I find it dumb that we can't say "(insert word with p that means a word with v referring to the female genitalia)" but we can say "pusssy", for example. I don't want to complain against specific admins. I want to express that there is no homogeneous behaviour between you all. I'll just leave this here without saying who it was because I don't want any trouble. It's ok if you guys don't agree with me, at least I got heard and you were cool. Admins have a fix set of rules to adhere to (which you can read in our wiki), although there is some leeway in individual approaches. I personally think this is totally fine, as we have lots of different people admining here voluntarily. In the end we all are here to chill and have fun, as you put it. Sometimes a server does feel like a kindergarden though and that's where patience might run low and commands will be issued. As stated in several posts, as long as you treat people on server respectfully, you won't get in trouble with an admin. 2. The censor isn't perfect, but it does prevent deliberate and excessive swearing. I will talk to DD about the words that are censored and how to improve it (though this will be a low priority issue atm). Whoever circumvents this filter intentionally ofc, might have the mute coming, depending on the context. 3. I'll admit that I don't play Jaymod and therefore am not completely sure how it's working out, but the spawnshield on Jay2 seems to be up for 5 seconds, which should be enough time to get out of spawn and avoid any heavy artillery fire and the like. Making a rule like "No Spawnkilling allowed" which I experienced in a previous server I played in, seems to be just additional work for admins on any server with more than 20 players. Usually it's not spawnkilling that ruins maps, but uneven teams and that's what our admins are for. Thanks for your input, KidBuu. I hope I could adress your points adequately.
