Czecherz
Hi Everyone, I was huge ET player back in its day, and I was super excited when I found out today that there is still a community to play with. However, it seems like most of that community is on your servers, and I am having connection issues on both recruiting and hardcore servers. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I REALLY want to play again. Czecherz
I forgot to actually describe the issue I'm having in game. I can connect to the server fine, but when I get into the server, I almost immediately get the connection interrupted warning that flashes on your screen, and I can't play, but I can see everyone moving around on the map though it looks very laggy.

Czecherz
Hi Ann!b@l, Thanks for the quick reply. I tried this multiple times, restarted my PC, tried again. It doesn't seem to be helping. Edited April 5, 2017 by Czecherz
DFighter
perhaps /r_primtives 2 ( or 0 or 1 ) or perhaps you can lower your fps /com_maxfps nrhope this helps for you
Czecherz
Hi DFighter, I tried your suggestion as well, no luck, I tried 0, 1, and 2. I also set com_maxfps to 60 with no luck. Also, I changed the properties to run in Windows 7 compatibility mode as administrator. If anyone has suggestions, feel free to let me know. If I made a clip of me doing these steps and joining the server, do you think that would help?
Ann!b@l
Nothing running in background that might draw off on your connection? Set Windows Update on manuel in the services, run scans with antimalware tools and let us know if it improved things. http://www.adlice.com/download/roguekiller/#download https://adwcleaner.en.uptodown.com/windows http://www.superantispyware.com/

Platinum VIP -=HipKat=- Posted April 5, 2017 Platinum VIP Share Posted April 5, 2017 I'm curious about why people use Legacy when from what I've read, it just causes problems for a lot of people. I've used for a few years now the one from our own Downloads section perfectly. It has everything you need in one installer
Leader RedBaird Posted April 5, 2017 Leader Share Posted April 5, 2017 You could also post this question on the Legacy forums.
DoubleDragon
In case the Auto Rate is set to Server Max change it you will have to set rate manually again. But these two items Antilag and Auto Rate will cause the connection interruption. Edit: This is in Jaymod - Misc almost forgot. Incase you want to try I dont know maybe hardcore has these I don't know but these are it. cg_delag "0" cg_autoRate "0" If this doesn't work check your isp connection with http://www.speedtest.net/ or some other site that provides network up and down speeds.
