CheepHeep
You cant even try one egg? fill a third of the kettle with water then put the egg in so it doesnt crack
Alphaloki
I think I can do it only if I lay the kettle almost horizontally and gently let the egg roll to the bottom. I will give it a try since I love eating eggs

What i put is a guideline more than an instruction

CheepHeep
My whole family does this all the time. its not new o.O what is the other way to boil an egg?? Good. Theres obviously going to be some people that already do this but it isnt the common way of boiling an egg. They use a pan or a basin and a cooker. DrPotato
Does everyone buy their kettles from the low powered kettle shop . . . normally dont see one that is below 3kw unless its a tiny travel one. I think ill stick with a pan - I am lazy, dont want to have to mess around washing the kettle so it can do its real job. Might give it a try if i get around to buying a cheap lower powered kettle some time though just to see. b0rR*4cHo
Could you please add that if the egg floats when submerged in water, then it is a bad egg and should not be consumed.
Raskin
If you suspect an egg in the refrigerator has been boiled but don't know, spin it,if it wobbles it's not a boiled egg
