Hi, I'd really like a new config but i suck making one. Crosshair, Fov and mousespeed or sth like that i can change myself.

 

I'd be happy if someone gives me good config where there is no explosions and so on :D

Browse through the screenshots of different player's configs and find one that suits your taste. http://fearless-assassins.com/files/category/11-player-configs/

 

You should be able to run any configuration pretty well with your specs.

 

Once you find one let us know and we can help you get it set up for your PC and personal preferences.

Well THis was given me by rendel, but it failed when i did /exec rendel.cfg. I'd prefer windowmoded so i can tab out if needed

The settings DD described are what would make ET fail run once executed if they don't match your native resolution.  I was recently playing windowed on my laptop and found using a slightly smaller resolution, or any size you choose, that matches your aspect ratio works great.  Give it a google search and you can find a list of say 10:7 resolutions to choose from.  You could also use a program such as ET Minimizer to quickly tab out and still run the game full screen.

 

What resolution and refresh rate/hz is your screen using?
