Shouldnt money from VIP Purchases still count towards the goal because the money is still going towards maintenance of forums/servers or is it going somewhere else, which is totally fine because i get that its not exactly a donation, its a purchase. We have had many VIP purchases, platinum at that, recently so realistically the amount needed to meet the $5200 goal is a lot less than what it shows in the bar. I mean i get why you wouldnt be able to add it in now as its unfair on all those that have bought it this year, unless you do start adding all previous purchases now but i guess thats time consuming, but starting next year. i dunno. Or maybe create a separate bar for VIP purchases? Just a thought because then this would create less pressure for people to donate because donations should be made with the intention that they want to support FA and not because they have to? I might be blabbering haha. So a separate tab for vip donations could give a more realistic/accurate way of tracking how much money is needed to meet the goal. I am little bit tired after hard week in work and poorly slept night so my brains not fully working now Vip is product, you will get different things by buing vip, like extra features in site (read more in here) , and extra lvls and commands in the server, when with donation you just simply want help DD pay the server bills and help the clan running and stay a live without getting anything back than just good fealing of helping. Its just like you make donation to charity, you dont get anything back, but good feeling and you dont wait anything back either. With vip payment you get something back and you wait to get something back just like in the store, you watch product what you want to buy and if its satisfie you, you will bought it. It would not be fair to those who made donation to see that vip payments will be added to donation goal, when they actually bought product and donators just made donation to help meet the goal. For seperate bar for vip, we can think about it, but problem would be that all dont report they vip payments, its auto system, they usually only repot if there is problems with it, so its hard to track every vip payments. Also donation goal amount come from what we need to stay even and to get bills payed, we do have some amount already calculated to vips. So without any vips that donation goal amount would be higher than it is now. Some make donations private, they dont want they name in the donation list or donation added to goal. If we meet our donation goal, then in next year we dont need to add any extra fees to donation goal (if payments stay same). If we go over donation goal by donations (or by vip payments or private donations) will donation goal be smaller next year. I try to explain what i mean with my poor english, because even that we could go over donation goal, next year donation could increase because increased expenditures. So to explain my self better i give you example. Example in year 2017 our donation/payment goal would be 3000 dollar, totally we get 4000 dollar by donations and vip payments and private donations. Then our calculated goal to payments and donations for 2018 would be 4000 dollar because increased server fees and new games and new site fees etc. So because we got 1000 dollar extra last year we can keep donation/payment goal still to 3000, even that payments raise for 1000 dollar. Where we count that 500 come from private donations and vip payments so what we need by official donations is 2500. That 2500 would be our goal what we then post to site. Then if we would have done 1000 dollar minus in 2017. Then that 1000 minus would have been added to 2018 goal with added fees of payments and donation goal would have been a lot bigger or DD and leaders would have payed minus. I am not totally sure how minus would work. Hopefully you understand what i mean. This is how i have understand our donation system, i could be wrong and DD can for sure correct me if i am wrong, but this is how i understood how this is working in here.
