And I got this message--->

So I put in my windows 7 disc and went to REPAIR WINDOWS, clicked to repair system startup/boot and it said it was fine, no errors.

Tried doing a system restore tried latest date all the way to first available restore and they all failed with this message --->

Only thing I can think of was microsoft had some critcal update that downloaded last night and was going to take affect after I restarted my computer, So I had restarted my computer and went to bed, woke up and went to get on the computer and this is where I'm at now...

Ideas, please...

If the PC doesn´t have 1billion £ worth of data, I don´t see why to even bother:P I just posted in other forum related to other topic but here´s CTRL+V: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/windows-secure-boot-golden-key,32450.html Nothing to panic about but confirms my thoughts- anything can be cracked and not worth the extra trouble, when some random updates can mess the system up. I guess ASUS has to update BIOS FW to keep up with MS updates? And installing new BIOS... well it still can be fubared. Not advising installing BIOS.

The downside is that if one wants to disable it, then format C: is necessary... Don´t know really, as luckily my mobo came SB disabled:)

Also Linux can´t be installed SB Enabled?
