Corvettes launch control is still not very good (it is probably the one flaw in the car on paper at least.). I would say on a track the Audi R8 would win and in a straight the Audi R8 would also win. I never driven either so I am just giving what is purely opinion. If I had to buy one though, I would get a corvette because it is a lot more fun.
