It is unfortunate that Ramsey died, he was quite the character, but it is good that the story moved a lot forward by the events of this episode.

My god what an episode. Most brutal so far. I looooved the battle. Was so damn dreadful to the very end.

Ramsay was an awesome villain though and I'm kind of sad he died. We all hated him just like we hated Geoffry :3

The circle tactic of Ramseys was so cool too.
The only thing I'm freaking mad about is why didn't the giant get full body armor?? Not just because he died, it annoyed me whole way through.

He'd be freakin' invincible with an armor. 3245x better and stronger than Cersei's Frankenstein.

Dany!

She's so cocky, BUT GO DANY #teamdanyforever

Finally some dragon action ^_^

Also, sparks between Dany and Yara. Damn cute.

That little deer ser Davos found belonged to Shireen? He gonna kill the Red Woman now? That would suck.

Aaand this convo;

I loved the man. He lifted me up and made me something. But he had demons in his skull whispering foul things.
- You saw these demons?
What? No, it's a manner of speaking. Not...actual demons.
-Oh.

This episode was indeed freaking epic. The one part I disliked was Ramsey shooting at Rickon from such a long distance he could have easily dodge any of the arrow just by running in different directions. What ever, it brang such an epic battle that I don't even care!!

Littlefinger coming back as a reinforcement to backstab them once more, typical plot!

Khaleesi finally back as a fearsome badass which is really appreciated! Also the Iron Islands guys are gonna get burned to ashes!

9,5/10 episode, I wonder what kind they bring us up for the last of the season!

Ad i said.. Who rules the world :)

I agree it would be nasty Davos vs red woman. I am not sure Davos will win it..

I am really not sad about the dead of Ramsay.. Yes a great actor but the war for the north is just not that interesting imo....

So because of thelack of armor no giants are lft in the 7 kingdoms i think. Also, Not many wildlings are left and both armies is minimized.. A real "pyrus vicory" .. White walkers are smiling now..

Cant wait till da next episode

Great episode. Interesting now that the only real fighting force left in the North are the Knights of the Vale. Baelish is in de facto control of 2 of the 7 kingdoms - is he going to pack up and just leave? He's going to want something!

Couple of things about The Knights of the Vale do niggle though. Firstly Sansa keeping it quiet, she could have at least mentioned to Jon she had written to Baelish requesting his help. With The Knights of the Vale on his side pre-fight you could imagine a lot of Bolton supporters switching sides. Admittedly we wouldn't have got an awesome battle out of it just a protracted siege which wouldn't have been as good viewing. My other problem is the way they took Ramsey totally by surprise. How on earth does an entire army ride through the North to Winterfell without being spotted? Even if the other houses decided not to report it to Ramsey, he would surely have his own scouts out in his own land which should have given him at least some notice they were coming.

First of all full plate armour is ungodly expensive... even by our modern standards, believe me i know something about it, The giant was a member of free folk and it's been said that free folk had troubles even arming themselves with good steel

Secondly, Armour the better it is the more time has to pass before it's done, not to mention how enormous that thing was, crafting a breastplate for that beast would require a crane just to lift it off the furnace

Thirdly the giant wasn't so agile, wraping him in half a ton of steel would make him sink in the ground

And lastly.... No armour makes you invincible

Bonus: The only sets full plate armour i've spotted during the battle was on some Knights of the Vale, Not even the Bolton's pikeman had it, they wore bits of half plate but most of them wore simple chain mails or scale mails with leather covering

Also general armour rant: You remember the Mountainstein's breastplate getting pierced by a makeshift hacking weapon the other episode, I don't remember laughing so hard while watching this series
