Welcome to the club, Ol' Smoke!  

 

For some of the players you can tell them, "back when I was your age, we only have 180kb floppy discs for storage!"

 

For others, you could say, "back when I was your age, our only home computers were slide-rules!"

 

I think that our players are all too old to believe that, "back when I was your age, we only had rocks and sticks to play with", but you might fool some of them.   :D

actually it was fun sound when u have 2 floppy drives looking to all 86kb game to load :) full size 5,25 fobby frives hear seek and found... before game loads :) no hd... hd was way too expencive that tim :P

I remember the day that they installed a networked hard drive in our junior college PC Computer Lab.  It was a Huge Five MegaBytes!  I think that the IBM PCs were up to 360kb floppies by then.   :)

 

I think that I lost my last floppy with PC-DOS 1.0 on it when I lent it to a co-worker for the game "Bugs!" on it, an ASCII "shoot the falling bugs" type. That was the digital equivalent of "playing with sticks and stones" compared to games now.
