I have a question, so I have some apple headphones that have a microphone on them, and a lot of people on TS want me to talk but I don't know how to set the headphones up. Any suggestions? jaie Posted September 15, 2015 Share Posted September 15, 2015 tldr you are trying to plug in a trrs connector into a trs jack, (tip - ring - ring - sleeve) into (tip - ring - sleeve) it's not gonna fit. You can use the headphones which is on tip and ring, but you will never get the 2nd ring (where the mic is) on your trrs into the 1st ring on your trs. You can get an adapter which splits the 2.
