meow Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 How is the KR calculated? I thought it used to be Kill/Death ratio...But it does not seem to be the case. I can go 45-2 and it won't even get a +0.001, yet if I get a K/D under my KR it usually goes down a little. Having the highest KR (around 6.4) on Hardcore, I'd like to keep it but it's been going down for a while now. Can't get it up anymore Zelly told me about killing people with higher KR to get a better KR, and killing low KR players doesnt give much/any KR. Is this right? It has never been like that since etpub. It is closer to chess Elo score - or rather it would be if it wasn't a crappy implementation (imho, sorry I have to say it). No disrespect meant, but lots of useless maths and papers, and they could have done it a bit better with a simpler formula. Zelly told me about killing people with higher KR to get a better KR, and killing low KR players doesnt give much/any KR. Is this right? you have to kill people with a higher kd and avoid being killed by people with low kd but as far as I remember from etpub, I think the more you play the slower it moves, till it gets to a point where it's hard to go up or down.
