5 years ago the map pool was at least 1M times better... For now it's way to massive and has lots of glitched maps that must be erased from the Universe... The amount of "good but way too smal maps", as well, does not make the gameplay more entertaining...

 

Suggested mappool :

Gold Rush Default version

Venice 

Railgun Default version

Fuel Dump  Default version

MML Minas (well bugged but oK)

Castle Attack

Marakesh streets or w/e it's called

UJE 00 (oK map but also full of glitches)

The wall glitch on tramfight past up the stairs going to Allies 2nd spawn is well known and probably doesn't need mentioning further.

 

You can disappear into the wall and are able to shoot out, but almost everyone knows that's not allowed.

 

It's a great map and I hope it will continue to be run on servers.  Please remind players that shoot "hidden"

 

That it's against the rules.

How is the latest rotation going? Is there anything which makes players leave? Is there any map which should be already changed?

This is good overall but few maps should be removed : we lose players because of them :

Tramfight is most of the time appreciated by players what is not often the case of reactor_final. The first often made Jay3 full while the second made almost all players leave. May I suggest to switch between these 2 suggestions?

runis23 yes.. Most players on Jay3 liked it (me included). A bit tricky to understand at first glance, and a real labyrinth due to map size, it's really a fun map. For the other, I don't know nor remember it for now.

Well, on Jay2, it is not really popular because most of the time, allies barely stand a chance of winning it unless teams are unbalanced.

I also mention the glitch at the beginning of the map

The vote is still negative (SS from last week).

Reactor

The issue with this one is that axis never win : it is easily rushed.

However, it is a good map if you like BBQ and close fights.

 

Sand of Times

This one has to be removed : we lose too many players every time it shows up.

Sorry, I meant I haven't played them on Jay2.

Considering the time I am ON, I cannot believe I haven't played them yet .

I am sure someone put a jinx on me. :mellow:

All I am asking here is to add few maps in order to change a little bit the rotation.

Any change is always appreciated. Of course, people will always whine, but no worries, they will never add their input to that topic.

While I am here, one final request : keep Haunted Mansion. I have so much fun trying to get the CP down as an axis cvops.

I recall a laggy map.

Ruins: if you mean the 1st mins where Axis has to blow the wall.. well, it is a bit, but nothing too difficult that prevents Axis blowing this wall nor even accessing the "castle" through this entrance before this stage was completed.. Plus, there's a 2nd entrance possible with another smaller wall to destroy and a cp to built, avoiding than the whole team, in case the latter would be weaker, rushes and dies in the 1st one if needed. You can also see this 2nd entrance as a support to succeed with the a bit more difficult 1st one.

 

 

The River: if it's a laggy map then maybe best to not add it?

I found out why these maps never were loaded even though one of these two was still in rotation (TheRiver) and the other one put aside. Apparently, a little typo was made for both. So, it's fixed.

 

 

Anyway, Ruins23 and TheRiver (this way you will be able to judge) added. Tramfight, Sand of Time and V2 removed. Still 2 extra maps possible. So let me know if ever you have some suggestions.

Well I would suggest snatch3 in anycase :P great map missing in this rotation 
I would suggest to the jay2 guys to filter first the maps out that are not liked or make people leave and also mention if it doesnt have bot waypoints or no antirush and get rushed due that
to replace those later with some new maps or something

Hey what i remembering from stats haunted mansion is not liked map, could we remove it from rotation. Could you also make flameguard 0, 32 instead of 16, 40. I would like to play FG more often than now. Normandy map could be good too and Railgun that is asked often :) Ps pirates is also rushed very often and beein server too long so maybe we could play this rotation without pirates, and we could add fuel bump in the rotation.

Completely agree with Von here, Haunted mansion isn't liked that much. Railgun & fuel dump would be awesome and maybe Battery? And yes please remove Pirates, that map is always rushed! 

 

Some maps i'd like to see and that were fairly liked by others

 

- Base Race

- Cathedral

- Minas Tirith (maybe give this a shot? I know it require a lot of people)

- Fata Morgana

- Cortex Beta
