ET Server Suggestion Jay1 map rotation suggestions

Took out BBA? smh

 

But left in Flame Guards, which has been asked ot be removed a bunch of times.

 

Appreciate the effort and making changes though!

We will implement/change maps in next week, as well.

BBA is still in, flame guards is like oasis just mirrored with teams in my opinion

I would like Flame Guards, except once you get to the rocket room, it's 30 minutes of nonsense

Glad someone else likies this. It's the first map I ever played in ET and once upon a time, was a regular on most servers. I'd love to see it back

I just logged in, to write on this topic, hehe
If I could, i would love to play old, regular map on our server: Radar, Railgun (i know, maybe too small) are awesome. Of course, we can put North Pole also :)

OH, also : oasis is superultrahard for allies... I never saw allies winning this map (if allies win oasis, shuffle is more than recommended)   - we need to remove this one i think :(

Radar is a great and original map but indeed way too small for jay1.

 

Supergoldrush is great one, would love to see this one.

You think Radar is too small?? It's really no smaller than Supply Depot. Once the allies capture the flag, everything is Supply happens around the depot, mainly.

 

Personally, I think Radar is a no brainer. One of the best classic maps there is, plus a standard comp map. Only thing is, no rushing rule would need to be strongly enforced

You're right. Supply Depot is a small map too. There should be somekind of setting that small maps are not played when there is for example over 15vs15. Someone once said there is setting like this, but I wonder does it work well because supply and other small maps

are often played when server is full, its a chaos :D

I don't think it works. Look how many people are on when Frostbite is playing, for example

Small maps are loaded in certain circumstances. I explain how it works:

 

Example #1 from map rotation:

Supplydepot 0, 64

That makes sense, although, doesn't seem like BAse race would be set to more people than Supply??

 

BTW, just want to say, Mission Accomplished!

 

Now D..X and some other will say I'm wrong, because saying I'm wrong makes their day, but my thread cost me 3 levels and got me yelled at, but Jay 1 got new maps!

Small maps are loaded in certain circumstances. I explain how it works:

0,30 would be good for supply. Server can maybe handle 64players in supply but axis gets trap almost everytime in map and then its just pure rape for allies.
