Few words and phrases that too many folks say incorrectly

6) Ex Cetera = Et Cetra

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong with posting.

Incorrect.

The correct version is "et cetera".

 6) Ex Cetera = Et Cetra

Should even more precisely be "et caetera" (latin). But in French we all use "etc" instead anyway...

I think the common way to say it in English is actually "et cetera". That's the correct way in Dutch at least.

The one that annoys me most is definately their/there. Really gets on my nerves for some reason :)

Yep, that's the mistake I make most often... The funny/frustrating thing is... I do know how it should be written .

I even thought about writing it correctly when I was writing it... Still I made the damned mistake... !freeze plat stop making the same mistake over and over

I found two very interesting words that perfectly  describes Friday

1) Fudgel  = Pretending to work when you're not actually doing anything at all .

2) Clinomania = Excessive desire to stay in bed.

Back to Business , few homophone mistakes to avoid (It's been claimed "then" and "than" are not homophone, I am Indian and to me both sound same but in west its definitely a different story)

1) Than vs. then = “Than” is the word to use in a comparative statement , for example : My milkshake is better than yours While we use "then" to  describe  sequence of events. For example : Make me sammich then you can suck it up.   I use to get confuse between "then" and "than" I made myself understand by giving a hint "then got E  and so does tense.. so "then" is related to time).

2) To vs. Too = I have seen this mistake so numerous times =  "To" means toward for example: going to fap, while "too" means excessively or also , for example : too much(excessive)  porn is always too less, &  I play and use TS too  .

3) Your vs. You're

4) Threw vs. Through

5) Stationary vs. Stationery = Stationary resembles "standing still"  while stationery refers to items like cards, paper, pen or other writing material.

Have to move out will complete rest later.

"Clinomania "... Excellent word to know. I ignored that one even in my language. But how useful !

Makes me think of another easy confusion : teach / learn.
