It was up to your Doctor to diagnose it.  Don't expect us Internet people or sites to do it for him!   :)

Did he give you antibiotic tablets, or what?

This Wikipedia article has a picture that might match your description,  If it is this, then the doctor could not miss it!

Kr. Karizmatic edited the original picture copied from Wikipedia.

The circled part in the original picture is where that hernia is, and it is at the outside edge of the abdominal wall.  A hernia is part of an organ poking through the abdominal wall (that holds your guts in) and your swelling area on your leg cannot be a hernia.  (I don't think.)

I would suspect a swollen lymph node there.  Infection is a common reason for swollen lymph nodes.  The first treatment is antibiotics.

Qustion:  What is the name of the tablets that he gave you?

I can also have a hard time understanding just what the doctors tell me.  If you don't understand the diagnosis or what the pills are for, you should ask again.

1, fourrts is an Indian Rx Lab http://www.fourrts.com/so that is a brand name, not the actual medicine name

See if the medicine name is on this list of products:  http://www.medindia.net/drugs/manufacturers/fourrts-india-laboratories-pvt-ltd.htm

Also:  there is a fourts-B from Fourrts :) http://www.drugsupdate.com/brand/generic/Acetylcysteine/25220

2. rantac used to treat a variety of stomach-acid ailments:  http://www.drugs.com/ranitidine.html

3. noff-200 an antibiotic used against many infections  http://www.medidart.com/products/NOFF-200MG-TAB100.html

4. triwin plus  for pain and fever : http://www.dawabazar.in/triwin_plus/zee_laboratories_lanark_laboratories_pvt_ltd/24417731

The rantac might be used to counter-act some side-effects from the other medicines or might be part of the primary care.
