Can't even watch news videos anymore....

Has anyone else noticed that on the major news sites that the commercials are now 18 to 20 seconds long.

Remember when they were 5 secs long?

It's getting ridiculous.  It's like trying to watch a sitcom.  Every 6 minutes there is 3 minutes of commercials.

Now I have to sit through commercials to watch video of a news sort.  And then...do it again when the next

video comes on to play.

I won't do it !

Anyone on here know a place where I can see news worthy videos without the commercials ?

I have the answer to all of your prayers. In firefox and google chrome browsers there is a magical little extension/addon called Adblock Plus.

It removes 95% of ads on most websites. I love it for Youtube use, news websites, and even porn sites (no more pesky pop-ups!).

Take the sword young padawan. use it wisely.

Also, since is blocks ads, I do say to disable it on websites that you really enjoy so as to not take ad revenue away from those that need it. ;)

Adblock Plus is probably the best discovery I've ever made. It's like you finally get to experience the internet how it should be. Websites like facebook are no longer cluttered with ads all over them, and look how they're suppose to look. Saves you time, and makes your browsing experience much more enjoyable.

adblock is on IE 11 too.

There's no shame in using IE right?

Actually ABP services multiple browsers. I believe most modern ones. When you follow the link I posted, it'll detect your browser and should offer the proper download for that specific browser.
