Emphera Posted June 13, 2014 Share Posted June 13, 2014 hey i get connection interrupted alot, cant play like this & have no clue what to do.. this only happens on jay1, other servers are fine, my pc is quite new, tried restarting router/modem/pc's & didnt fix anything.. i have no idea how or why its happening, im not a tech nor ever had this problem when i played this game as a kid like 8-9 years ago, i just went to this site & downloaded et from here ( custom one ) and started to play again last night, problem is i cant play if i get connection interrupted because it just drags you back to where you were standing first, so i need some suggestions on how to fix this annoying problem, thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Emphera Posted June 13, 2014 Author Share Posted June 13, 2014 yes i run et as admin, and i have no idea how to do the stuff @ the link for 2 reasons, the main problem being windows 8, im used to xp/7 so 8 makes things really hard, 2nd the language, my pc language is dutch.. Emphera Posted June 13, 2014 Author Share Posted June 13, 2014 not sure how to check motherboard etc but i have: i7-4770 processor - 8gb ram - 1 tb hard drive, box also says ( i have no idea what it means ) NVIDIA® GeForce ® GTX760 and 64 GB SSD, if this info helps anything at all? Would you mind giving this a go; http://fearless-assassins.com/files/file/400-winmtr-64-bit/ Use it to check your connection between yourself and the server Follow the instructions below; To run winMTR or MTR if you're on a mac (32bit and 64bit windows, for Mac Users) on the server IP 8.9.4.227 by entering into the "host" bar at the top and running it for 100 cycles (cycles = sent packets), click the " copy text to clipboard" option and post the results here, it would be greatly appreciated.
