Reallity
Phlegm (/ˈflÉ›m/; Greek: φλÎγμα "inflammation, humour caused by heat") is a liquid secreted by the mucous membranes of mammalians. Its definition is limited to the mucus produced by the respiratory system, excluding that from the nasal passages, and particularly that which is expelled by coughing (sputum). Phlegm is in essence a water-based gel consisting of glycoproteins, immunoglobulins, lipids and other substances. Its composition varies depending on climate, genetics, and state of the immune system. Its color can vary from transparent to pale or dark yellow and green, from light to dark brown, and even to dark grey depending on the constituents. ah slime

Leader RedBaird Posted May 28, 2014 Leader Share Posted May 28, 2014 Its when you have a Cold and cough up green snot stuff, thats phlegm. It is "Phlegm" while in your lungs or throat and "spittle" after you spit it out? "Terpischore" I mostly figured out by the poem's rhyme, but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SEQTjVxQTQ while Pronouncenames.com said " Pronounciation: Turp-see-chore", with a different emphasis, it seems. Merriam-Webster.com said ": the Greek Muse of dancing and choral song" which makes me wonder if there is a Greek Muse of "dancing and not-choral song".
