The funny fact is that when there is no bots around(or 3-5) there is no lag at all, also stable 80 ping then. (5,6 pic) But when more appear I have whole 80ping to 300,500 ping jumps. And from speedtest i have 91 ping, 11mbps, 35kb/s upload On other servers I have stable ping, on some 60, on some 80 and on others 150. Secondly, I don't think it's a bug, also in Et Support how to recognize your lag was placed so I made topic here. But if you want I can make report on tracker too. And It would be great if ammount of bots was reduced from 18 to 9(or sth around it) About game nights, it's kinda bad to play with bots on server. Heretic121 Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 Satori, the lag was server-side and, as I may have mentioned before, most likely due to the number of bots. We had the same problem with NQ2 when that was swamped with bots. I believe a reduction in the amount of bots for B2 is probably the best course of action. We would have had it done for this weekend but DD was away and no one else was able to edit the amount of bots. As for the problem with bots not knowing what to do with the gravity/speed settings, that problem is only apparent when holding an event there and as ET's event has finished (Or nearly finished) it's no longer a problem but definitely something to bear in mind for the next time we hold an event on ET. El indio Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) Yeah..not nine bots...the main problem with that server,is more than half the people who try to join can't join because of that pk3 thing.. as most of the F|A who turned up for the weekend found out.. your crew only did it because it was a game night.. other people can't be assed and just join another server..i don't see why the regulars on that server should be forced to play 9v9 games..when we could be part of a bot team which gives us all more to kill.. the situation on that server will never improve,you can tart it up it'll still be relatively empty..because of the Pk3 issue..i'm sure if you went on the server and asked regulars they would rather have 17v17 battles..it's sometimes laggy..but they come back,so they must like it..or they would go else where? it's not a bit amount of regulars..about 20 or so all together..but we are like a family and we have some fun on that server. As i said quite a few times,at the end of the day it's your server..do with it what you will..but i know the situation there as i play there every day. I've posted lag problem to find help with it, not to debate about regulars or what happening on server. Maybe the whole lag problem is because of those bots but It might not be.
