Orcface Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 I would love to see a message added about using auto assign when joining in. All this evening teams have been unbalanced. No one had an issue using it once it was mentioned so I'm not complaining about anyone I just think if the message was there as they came into the lobby it might reduce this a tiny bit. Also, being new to COD on PC myself I was confused about what nade switching was. Never had heard the term before. Since autobalance is kinda self explained when you see "teams will be evened in yadayada time", then magicly teams are evened.... phil21191 Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 That's what auto balance is for, but I will agree there has been a lot of team stacking on beginners lately, including to the point of players swapping teams after auto balance has done it's job. I've been asking players to stop the team stacking and if they continue after auto balance has kicked in then I've been issuing warnings. EmtHipple Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 (edited) This happens on all servers at some point, team stacking is against the rules and should be handled as any lower level offense, IE: three warns, kick, tempban. This is the only real way people listen. It's like life. The_Dom Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 I agree that it would be helpful to have a running message reminding people to be observant of it unbalanced teams and to auto assign. I know we admin it and try to balance, but we can't force people to do it we don't have a !putteam or whatever the et command is. Having a reminder for people, other than constant nagging from admins, would be helpful.
