GraveDigger Posted March 4, 2013 Author Share Posted March 4, 2013 I just had the first session on Sat afternoon. Keep in mind that this is just the first outline sessoin. There is going to be a mermaid above the octopuss and a few other small additions. You will also notice a tattoo of a dragon thats old and shitty--that is going to be covered up and gone for good. Then there will be 20+ hours of shading and detail. I will be adding photos after every session so that you can see the progression and development of the overall piece. The artist that is doing this tattoo is named Dan Martin and he owns Scorpion Studios Tattoo shop in Houston Texas. They have a pretty cool site with some really sick ass tattoos. I have had 5 sessions with each one lasting about 2.5 to 3.5 hours. I have 3 or 4 more to go. Keep in mind that its still a work in progress and will look much different once its finished.
