How to Save CFG File?

Question

Can anyone tell me how I can change my cfg file to one i have downloaded?

u can past new cfg in your folder etmain and ingame /exec newcfg.cfg in console or rename your autoexec.cfg to new name and rename your new cfg to autoexec.cfg and ingame. open console /exec autoexec.cfg

so the cfg file has to be named autoexec.cfg?

i tried doing /exec autoexec.cfg and it wouldnt exec.

Your cfg must be in etmain. /exec cfg.name will ocerwrite current cfg.
