kentikins
I've owned a mac for quite a while now. I'm just wondering whats the best/most useful antivirus/security programmes designed specifically for the Mac. I've used all the free ones from the apple store but never found them that great. You maybe wondering why I use them. Well to protect my mac as the threats of virus' have increased and to protect friends and family from windows virus' that I may have on my mac. So back to the original question what's the most useful?
ajnl
I'd use ESET Smart Security. They developed one for the mac. Of course, it is not free.
Krauersaut
None. If you really have to, then I'd probably recommend Avast.
ajnl
None. If you really have to, then I'd probably recommend Avast. Wow awesome, didn't realize Avast made an anti-virus for mac as well. Avast would definitely be my choice, looking at free anti viruses. Out of curiosity, would a mac anti virus find windows viruses? Gewh
Sophos have a free Mac Anti Virus too. A Mac AV should find the Windows problems too, so it can stop you forwarding them onto colleagues on Windows.
