Cant Plat ETPub

so when i try to play etpub on the f|a server the game closes completely out and opens up firefox telling me this. (uploading pic so you can see)

That's a really strange "page not found" page... is it the one you usually get if you type a website in incorrectly?

 

As for not being able to connect, reinstalling et should work well enough, but dare or some other techy god might have an easier way.

yeah it's usually the page you get for typing in a wrong net address, and i dont know why i get that. I play etpub fine on any other server but when i try to play yalls etpub server the game closes out and my firefox pops up witht hat.

not sure it's the first time i tried playing pub and soon as it starts to download the first thing wich i think is the sound pack or whaever it just kicks the game off and comes to the page via firefox

do u use config? try it back now and see if that happens again.

 

try cl_allowdownload 1 in console and hit reconnect.

it doesnt give me the option to reconnect it closes the game out completely and brings me to that page i loaded the game and before trying to connect tot he server i put cl_allowdownload 1 it console and then connected and still got the same thing and yes i use .cfg

nop i checked it. I deleted my etpub files and they download perfectly well with 200-300Kb.
