My condolences to you. It just so happens that today is the 1 year anniversary of my Grandfathers death. He was sent to forced labor camps in Germany during WW2, but he lost quite a few friends during the war, like many people did.

My father, grandfather and grea grandfather all served in the army, either the English or the Australian army. My great grandfather served in the English Navy, my grandfather served in the English army during WWII and Korea and my father served in Australia and went to Papua New Guinea for peacekeeping once. So, I know what its like to have someone to look up to that serves there country. My deepest condolences, I wish you all the best. Losing such great people is always sad.
